Soldier Kit Bag
The Soldier Kit Bag is an app on iOS and Android the aims to help Soldier prepare for boards. It includes hundreds of flashcard style questions. Study can be done one subject at a time or all subjects with questions randomized.
The app also includes a subscription feature, the mock board, which has multiple modes and settings. The mock board can read questions aloud, wait for a voice response answer, then uses AI to evaluate the given answer then provides feedback.
This app has been used to study for multiple board with success from battalion all the way to corps level.
This app does not collect any user data. All historical data is saved locally on the device.

Answers are initially hidden until the show answer button is pressed, then they user can score themselves.
On the mock board you have many options:
- question read aloud or not
- voice or text input
- voice auto record or push to talk
- study a single topic or all topic
- choose how many questions you want from all topics
- auto-advance the questions
- smart learning on or off
- Simple or advanced AI feedback
- Get detailed results after each mock board session.
Using smart learning questions you answer correctly 5 times in a row are considered mastered. With smart learning on you will no longer be asked mastered questions so you can focus on the others.
- Untrained: less than 2 correct answers
- Learning: 2-4 correct answers
- Mastered: 5 consecutive correct answers
